+ KITH & KIN +

Keith Thompson Art - Robots

Fakking awesome stuff there.

In other news, hanging in there - smashing through reading (ish), writing when forced to (this weekend is first proper paper, kinda psyched), rampaging on the wargaming table every week or so (today: owned dark elves with the nurgley things in a whacky back-n-forth game), making a friend or two (Germans in fact, can't complain), skimping on the exercise like it's going out of style. Finally got my car re-titled in NY, and celebrated putting on new $107 plates by also sticking on my combichrist & "laibach" decals. Tomorrow the celebration continues with washing the poor guy for the first time. Ever.

Other other news, Erebus is back on the tattoo warpath again, which naturally has me thinking about inkination. Which is unfortunate, because I keep forgetting I'm a poor, overworked grad student, who's hobby spending is up 100% since returning to school ... Will be a while 'til #5 I suspect, but I'm thinking hazard stripes ...

+ BATTLEFIELD: ALBANY +

Because four years wasn't enough, GRADSCHOOLAGEDDON starts tomorrow with orientation (or today with pre-orientation stuff). Desire to do this for the next five plus years? Not being felt right now.

+ SPAWN 35: ROBOT WARS +

When the Internet starts to get boring I sometimes remember to check out Spawn.com to see what new action figures McFarlane is cranking out. So many great figures, never bought by me for money and space concerns. Ah well, still awesome. The upcoming Spawn line hits October and is themed around quasi-manga smashy robots. Yes.

MECHA SPAWN

TECHNO

STRIKER

MECHANOID TROOPER

CRUSHER

BREAKER

Possible downside is everybody standing around looking tough, but I can dig the excessively posturing killer robots.

+ GEARCROSSINATION +

Tired of painting this dreadnought, so tinkering with PS again. A couple gearcross images for you, part of the lead up to Salvage taking the reins of the DS myspace site ....

Not happy with it here either, but PS got me closer than Flash was. Damn do I miss free CAD at school.

+ HAIL FLESH BAGS +

In the event that I want to post on my life & times beyond Warhammer 40k (madness?!), here's the place. Nothing exciting yet, though I will note that it's pretty damn hot here. Guh. Solid steel body or no, humidity = the suck.
